With AIRLESS the material is pressed into the nozzle under high pressure. To transport and for atomization you need only a hose. The pump performance must be between 90 and 360 bar, depending on the application on hand.
The following parameters have to be carefully observed to achieve the desired finishing quality:
- viscosity
- material pressure
- nozzle size
The spray gun has a material needle, with is activated with the trigger and opens and closes the material outlet. The tungsten carbide nozzle is directly behind it.
Should you use lacquer which dries real fast or contains a lot of solid particles, clogging up can be cleaned by using a reversal nozzle without having to take the nozzle off and without tools being required.

The spray jet is defined only through the nozzle!
- The drilling defines the amount of material
- The angle defines the spray jet width
There are to types of nozzles:
Reversal nozzle: It allows fast cleaning in case of clogging up.
If the nozzle is turned and the trigger pulled for a few seconds, the clogging in the nozzle will be removed through the material pressure.
Standard nozzle: It will achieve a very fine perfectly regular spray jet without any stripping.
